I submitted my adult renewal application online at 10.30pm on Monday and was only able to send my old passport away by special delivery that Wednesday. By Thursday, the old passport had been received, the application was approved on Friday, printed on Saturday and the new passport received back on Monday. Super fast!

We weren’t informed by HMPO that my 14 year old son needed someone to verify his identity until 12 days after his application was submitted.
TNT delivery service has poor tracking – given times of between 8am and 8pm for the day. They don’t knock on your door just put it in your post box. This was an issue for us as our postbox is outside and letters can get wet in there! Should either knock on our door or HMPO should put it in waterproof packaging!!

There was a bit of a delay getting supporting documents on my end due to our Registry’s Machine being down for a few weeks. Then came a Hurricane shortly thereafter which delayed the sending of the documents. Received new passport roughly six weeks in Cayman Islands after the documents were received at Durham.
