I felt that the passport office provided a very good service because from the moment I applied for the passport, they informed me of every step of the application progress. Once the passport was printed it was delivered a couple of days later. The service is very efficient. I expected it to take 10 weeks but it took only 4 weeks. Thank you passport office.

Easy. However HMPO needs to update the list of required document for newborn.
Instead of requesting all of the 4 grandparents birth certificate and marriage certificate, only the documents really required.
Otherwise this would be a huge expenses and complication for the applicant to get hold of all these unnecessary documents.
We only send baby + mother birth certificate + grandmother birth certificate us advised by friends and that was enough.
