Extremely stressful from start to finish. The passport tracker app was slow to update. I received notification it had been printed on Friday 1 April, received on 4 April. No message at all from TNT but the website was showing the tracking info and delivery time from 1 April. Maybe a coincidence but every time I called and spoke to someone it seemed to move along the process by a step (even though they said they couldn’t do anything).

1 Star – Very StressfulI was surprised that it took very almost 2 months to receive my son’s first passport, and this was with my local MP getting involved. Despite the fact that the urgency of the passport was needed so myself and my son could travel for my partner to finally meet his son, the process could not be sped up. I have had to change our flight 3 times due to naively thinking that 6 weeks maximum is enough time for a passport to be issued. I even had to collect it from the local TNT depot.

This was paper renewal and very simple.
Renewal-adult passport.
24/02/22-applied online,DIY photo uploaded & paid via debit card.Old passport sent. Application logged at Peterborough Office.
29/03/22-Old passport received.
01/04/22-application approved.
04/04/22-sent for printing.
07/04/22-passed to TNT to deliver.
08/04/22-new passport delivered midday through letterbox.
Correction to above-applied online 24/03/22 not february.
