Updates from passport office really behind, over a week to acknowledge receipt of old passport.
Passport was delivered on same day that I had update that my passport was being printed !

Really easy, takes a few days to register that documents are received so don’t worry if that is the case for you. Taking pic on phone was super easy too. Hack for you, I struggled to get a white background without shadow, so went to a Photo Booth and took the pic in it on my phone, worked perfectly!

Such a fantastic service. Used a photo shop who checked my photo would pass on the gov website- worth doing as my first photo was refused as it said my eyes were closed ( they were open!). Less than a week later my passport arrived.

Took photos with photo-me and applied for a passport digitally with their photo code.
HM Passport text notifications: Applied on Thursday 18th April evening (and sent my old passport off Thursday evening). Old passport marked as received on Tuesday 23rd April. Application approved on Friday 26th April. Passport notified as been printed on Saturday 27th April but was actually already out for delivery as Royal Mail had sent a text informing me it would be due Saturday morning. Delivered Saturday morning, no issues!

I sent my documents by 2 day delivery on the same day I submitted my application online.
The packet was signed for on 17/4/24 but I didn’t get the documents received notification until 23/4/24. Application was approved n 26/4/24, and then printed and sent on 27/4/24.
