Passport office was great, quick and easy 5/5 for them
Post office 1/5, the application they sent using the Check and Send failed, and I had to resubmit a new photo. I’d say never use check and send at post office, waste of time and quite unreliable. I took the photo myself afterwards and was approved on the same day.

Comments:
Had to factor in the weekend and bank holiday, but only waited a few weeks for everything. Sent in documents on 29th, recieved those on 4th. It was approved on 17th, sent on the 18th and delivered on the 19th, with my documents returned too.

Issue with original photo not being good enough slight shadow in background but resolved in a day. Please ensure photo is confirmed as very good.
