Process was very fast for me. This was my first Uk passport after naturalisation. Was sworn in on a Wednesday, submitted application and mailed documents on Thursday, and received passport exactly two weeks later. It took one week to show on the website that my documents were received (website updated the following Friday). Passport office emailed two days later, on Tuesday, to say application was approved, passport was printed on Wednesday, and then delivered to my house (Royal Mail tracked 24) the next day, on Thursday. Exactly two weeks from start to finish.
