Comments:
Ordered new passport port as had misplaced my previous during house move. It was also out of date by around 8 months.
Paid for standard passport/process £88.50.
Received 12:04pm on the Monday, received 9:27am on the Wednesday.
The Passport online tracking service was slightly delayed in updating the progress.
Royal Mail informed me they had my passport long before HM Passport office had updated their system to say it had been posted.

Really easy, from doing application in the post office to following the internet looking at it’s progress, the only thing I would say is I was a bit nervous waiting for it to be received at passport office as it took a week.

Overall my passport showed up quickly and under the 3 week turnaround quoted. However though this site and the facebook group I could see people who submitted after me where getting moved on quicker. I had to prompt twice through the live chat service for my documents to be marked as received and for my application to be completed. Not sure how long it would have taken if I hadn’t.
