From our initial submission we made some calls to the Passport off call centre and we had a lot of support and guidance offered based on our requirement. We were hoping to escalate our request however we found a lot of useful information online or through thr Facebook pages which also gave info on when the fast tracks were released etc. We kept an eye on average times and tracked the progress through the online updates. Whilst the online updates didn’t provide the context on any specific detail on the opp it was extremely useful to see the stages and the steps being completed. It would be great if it was possible to call the local office where the passport is being produced to be able to see if collection is possible, this would help elleviate pressure off people but of course this can have an impact on the set process.
