Very easy- in addition to the dates below, I sent my documents by special delivery on 16/10/2023, and was told I needed an interview (to confirm my identity) by email on 19/10/2023. I phoned immediately and took the next available slot, which was 26/10/2023. The interview was virtual, via Teams. My passport was approved two minutes after the interview ended and received three days later, on 29/10/2023.

I completed my online application on 23/10/2023. Sent old passport on 24/10/2023 and my new passport arrived 28/10/2023. The application was approved and a new passport issued on 26/10 so it was a very quick process.

I applied from USA for both kids renewal and sent off the documents by Oct 4th USPS. It was delivered by Oct 17. Online status was finally updated as documents received on Oct 25, and approved same day. 26th they were sent back via DHL. I just received one passport today on Oct 30, and looks like the second one was sent to an incorrect facility still in UK. Was told original/supporting documents may take up to 3 weeks to arrive so anxiously awaiting as we need them for traveling abroad on Nov 16.

I renewed from Chennai, India on October 11 and the passport was ready for collection on October 25. 14 days out to Liverpool from Chennai and back! Mind blowing.
