Mine was for first adult passport after naturalisation. I had heard from others online in similar circumstances that an interview would be needed but to my surprise mine was approved without an interview.

I wasn’t aware after 3 lost passports in ten years you are required to have a virtual interview – I lost my holiday through this as expected it to be the usual 1st passport lost time frame. Please fast track if you’ve lost 3 passports!
