I’ve been in processing since March 17th, I emailed them in regards to this & this was first reply:
am happy to confirm we received your passport application at our Durham office on 17 March 2022 and it is currently waiting to be checked.
All correctly completed applications are being processed within the timescales of the service you applied for, which is approximately 10 weeks for a replacement application.
I then asked when the 10 weeks start from & they replied with the entry I posted above.
I called them yesterday & they basically said it’s just a waiting game, try the Newport number as that’s how I got through:
