daughters passport has been delivered by TNT today.
so all in all, 2 applications made of 29th May, both approved and returned in 2.5 weeks, and 3.5 weeks.

I got the printed email at 11pm last night, but tnt tracking displayed from 5pm
Got a text this morning from tnt saying its out for delivery
If it helps. I still have text from hmpo
However, in the last hour it has been scanned by tnt and showing for delivery on wednesday
if it helps anyone.
i recieved a call back today, one i had requested 2 weeks ago when there was an issue on their end for documentation.
whilst i didnt need their help anymore, i asked about the above, here is what they told me.
after looking into the application, they informed me that my daughters passport had been printed
they also advised me that the tracker will not update/send out a message and email until TNT have picked up the scanned it, this is what triggers the update.
when that will happen is beyond me.
we fly out on 14th July, so keeping fingers crossed.
Mine was on approved for 10 days before being printed back in March – so it’s not a next day thing once it’s approved. The passports are laser printed so each one has to be loaded into a cassette holder and put in batches through a machine, it’s not like a printing press throwing off thousands an hour!
my wifes was approved last tuesday, printed wednesday and delivered friday.
just been in the phone to them, apparently, TNT do not work on Sundays for passport collections, even if it was printed yesterday, it was show as printed until TNT pick it up. I was advised that should update tomorrow and they are confident that i will have it this week.

In the same boat, my daughters was approved yesterday morning at 9am and is awaiting printing.
Wifes was approved last week on 14th, printed 15th and delivered 16th. So fingers crossed

daughters application approved at 9am this morning, sent for printing.
wifes delivered yesterday.
both application submitted online on 29th May.
An update to this.
Wifes application approved. Within 3 weeks. Not bad
Finally a call back today, put through to another team, 48 mins on hold. They have now linked daughters application to mothers

however, child renewal is stuck in Hemel Hempstead, they want marriage certificate to provide mothers details, however marriage cert is stuck in Bootle with wifes application which has now been approved.
systems wont talk to eachother and no one at all will call me back even after numerous calls and emails.

on your advice i called again and asked to be put through to the progress team.
spoke to someone very helpful who just “thats no problem, we just need to link the applications”

the generic enquiry line i spoke with advised of a cover letter and were not able to help any further.

we are in the same boat, in fact, exactly the same boat.
wifes application is in Bootle with name change request with original marriage cert
daughters is in Hemel Hempstead and been asked to provide marriage cert.
on the phone advised to send a cover letter to link both applications, just wanted to hear if you had any joy.
