    Hiswm1982,

    Thankfully the passport has now been received.I emailed Newport upgrade team directly proof of our travel and called constantly. I don’t know if it was coincidental or not but the passport went from being in processing for nearly 8 weeks to being received within a week Its so stressful. T seems that more recently sent passports are being actioned much quicker than those stuck on processing from March and often longer.

    Hi my childs renewal passport has been stuck in Newport processing since 22nd March. With all the bank holidays coming up I am beginning to loose hope that it will be returned to us in time.Has anyone had any luck with the upgrade option 2 weeks before travel? Thanks
