Excellent. Applied for an online renewal on Wednesday 28 April, posted my old passport that lunchtime first class Signed for. Received notification the old one was received the day after. Received notification to say my application was approved on Monday 4 March, and the day after, was told it had been printed. Royal Mail emailed me on the 5th to say it would be delivered on the 6th, and it was (as was my old passport separately), so it took 5 working days from application to receipt. Great service.

Excellent communications. I was also able to send a copy of my current Irish passport with my old UK passport. Much safer than only having the option to send the original Irish passport as it meant I always had one that was valid. It would have been even better if I had been able to just upload a scanned copy directly rather than scanning and printing.
