Royal Mail said my documents were delivered and signed for on 19 September, but it took a couple of days for the passport office to acknowledge them. Otherwise pretty smooth.

Overseas, adult passport renewal in Bangkok, Thailand.
Submitted documents and application on the 18th September 2023.
DHL delivered package on the 20th September 2023.
HMPO advised that new passport ready for collection on the 2nd October 2023.
Collected new passport on the 3rd October 2023.
Only gripe, asked for a 50 page passport but received a 34 page passport. Need to contact the HMPO for a refund.
Nevertheless, very happy with the service.
