Took about a week for my passport the be approved and then just under for it to be printed and posted out to me. I used my phone to take the photo and didn’t have any problems. Honestly pretty shocked at how fast it was considering I didn’t sent my old passport back until a couple days after I submitted my application.
10/10 no complaints.

This forum was great! It made me think 3 weeks and it would be here. I rang passport control after submitting as I was panicking that I should have fast tracked and they said 10 weeks definitely at the least. I rang again and got through to the progress dpt and they were accurate and could see the application. They really helped me and had up to the minute info, saying there was a fast turnaround now as backlog cleared and I could even have it in a week! what a difference! I am a Christian and had really prayed too!

Excellent experience in difficult times.
I decided to go straight for fast track despite having 8 weeks until our holiday for my baby’s first passport. This was the best decision I made.
3 week wait for appointment.
Appointment Tuesday 17th May 2pm.
Passport through door Sat 21st May 1pm.
Experience at the passport office was excellent. Very efficient, polite happy staff.
I honestly cannot fault the fast track service. Completely worth the money to save my stress levels.

I have applied and sent in my application on 4/15 it was received and i received a text saying i need to send in my old passport. That arrived in UK from USA on MAY 4th…I still as of 5/20 HAD NO UPDATE I leave mid July for international travel with my entire family who are US citizens and have passports. What must or can I do? Also has anyone been able to expedite overnight mail at least?
