Comments:
Applied for my first UK passport (after recently acquiring British Citizenship by naturalisation) . I submitted my application on the 4th Feb 2024, but didn’t send in the required documents for about 10 days later as I needed to travel (and therefore couldn’t send HMPO my current passport). Once the paper work was eventually sent to them, the process was incredibly fast, it took only 2 days! Genuinely impressed by how efficient this service is! Well done HMPO!

Whole online experience was great, including the assessment of photo submitted (I submitted a selfie against a plain painted wall with natural light). Great to have alerts for each part of the process too.

Overall, the service is incredibly quick, It’s a shame the office doesn’t deliver supporting documents on a Saturday, but I can’t complain.

Really straight forward, birth certificate posted on 12-02-2024 Royal Mail tracked 24 but it wasn’t delivered until after 4pm on 15-02-2024 so then took 5 days from delivery to them acknowledging them
