I’m really impressed!
I applied on 16/10 and sent the the supporting documents. Royal Mail confirmed they were delivered the day after, on 17/10.
The online tracking confirmed receipt on 23/10 and today, October 24, the application was approved. So, I assume I’ll get it by the end of this week. Approval took just 24 hours, but it takes roughly one week before they start working on your application when it’s sent to their offices by Royal Mail. So, I’d say, at the moment you should expect your application to be approved and passport sent in 10 days or withing 2 weeks

Submitted application online on Sunday 15 October and sent off my old passport on Monday 16 October. My passport was ready to be delivered on Friday 20 October! I had to delay the delivery until Monday 23 October as I was unable to take the delivery on the Friday.

Took the photo on my phone as needed to get the application off ASAP. Everything went through fine. Posted the old passport via Royal Mail special delivery next day before 1pm. Received plenty of updates on progress. Fast turnaround.
