    Oh no! That’s so frustrating. I emailed via the webform and was told last Thursday (AM in UK, PM in NZ) that I’d receive a response in 24-72 working hours. It’s now Wednesday morning in NZ so it’s been 4 working days. I don’t really want to call again because I’ve already spent $40 (20 pounds) on international calling credit for a single phone call to the offices where they wouldn’t help me.

    @peacelilly38: Same here – since July 11 for me. Have you had any progress since?

    I’m experiencing a similar delay in updates.

    Applied online from New Zealand to replace a lost passport, due to travel to UK on 31/08.

    So it’s been over 3 weeks (which is nothing compared to what a lot of people have experienced, I’m sure!) so you’d hope that I’d at least get an update that the process has begun?
