How do I know which is my passport processing office please? Is this necessarily be the one nearest to my postcode? I am waiting for 15 weeks and have requested on 15-June to process on compassionate grounds and send the evidence to Durham. That didn’t progress my application. Today again I submitted on compassionate ground but this time the HMPO staff suggested to send evidence to Peterborough. I am very confused and stressed and want to know which is my correct passport processing office. Kindly help if anybody knows how to find. Many thanks.
@upsidedown I am waiting for 15 weeks and travel booked for 27-July. Please can you help and guide me in high level the format of the email I can send at ExpeditedService@hmpo.gov.uk please. I assume my application Reference and Name in the mail subject. Other than that just have to explain that I am waiting for 15 weeks and my travel is booked for 27-July. Is it like this please? Hi @vegele, you said you send the urgent request at ExpeditedService@hmpo.gov.uk. Can I also send the request to this mail address or did the HMPO staff suggested you to send the request. And what info did you include in that mail please?
I have applied for replacement of my lost passport on 3-Apr and waiting. After 10 weeks I requested for urgent processing on compassionate ground for my mother’s illness to travel to India. Still I am waiting and have to travel to Paris for work. I just telephoned the HMPO today to request again for my travel to Paris. And they have arranged a call-back. I am now waiting for the call. Was very stressed until I found this forum yesterday. I saw people applied for replacement are also waiting as I am doing. So that relives the worries a little. Please help and suggest what can I do now other that waiting for the call. Many thanks to all that shared their experience.
