A lady called me back and was very helpful. She checked the system and said the documents hadn’t been received, further investigation showed they just hadn’t been uploaded to their database. After doing this my application has moved to “Approved”. So it was definitely worth while asking for the call back.

Did you call the main Passport Office number? All I could get was to record a message asking for a callback?

I submitted my daughters passport renewal on 6th April. Royal mail delivery notification of old passport 12 April. “Documents Received” update of 20 April. Now 6th May and no further update. Cannot contact anyone about progress. We are meant to go on holiday 28 May.
