Safe to say that this crazy journey has come to an end.

    I didn’t book an interview.

If you need to get an interview my best bet would be to try and phone up or use the live chat service

Generally speaking, how long is the delay between when the courier acknowledges the delivery of the documents to when it updates on the tracking site?

Because it has been over 3 weeks since my documents supposedly arrived at the Liverpool passport office

After a 1 month gap, I sent my passport yesterday and (according to Royal Mail), it has been delivered.

    Hi everyone,

So I recently sent off my passport application and had my identity confirmed again, since the person I originally asked was ineligible.

However, right after sending it off, I had to travel for urgent matters- and given the fact that I finished university for this year, I might stay a bit longer.

Given that I am in the EU at the moment, I wanted to send off my documents (passport included) so by the time I am back home the passport is already in the post.

However, none of the mail couriers (UPS, DHL, TNT etc.) ship to PO BOXes. I tried with the local mail courier and they too don’t ship to PO BOXes.

Is there an alternative address I can send my documents to, or I am stuck with them until i get back?

I’m pretty sure that they don’t offer fast track for first adult passports?

I am currently applying for my first adult passport, but i have a dilemma.

On gov.uk, it estimates that it will take up to 5 weeks to process a new application, so if I apply by the end of this week, it will be done by the end of march/beginning of april, which is around the time that I need to travel.

Would it be wise to apply and pray my new passport arrives before I travel, or request the original (non-UK) passport back?
