    Hi @travel2022, I am going tomorrow without an appointment to Durham, I haven’t received any updates after several emails and 3 weeks of phone calls, I will update you tomorrow, my flight is on Sunday.

    Thanks, @holly1234_, your info is very helpful, just a clarification? I have to go where the application is or to the nearest office, the closest one is Liverpool for me but the application is up to Durham, as I am heading tomorrow morning to the passport office but not decided where, flying on Sunday, also.

    hello, advice please, got in touch in May with HMPO, I send emails to the Upgrade team, but still have not received any answer, planning to see them tomorrow as our flight is on Sunday. Our applications are in Durham but the nearest office is Liverpool, my question is: Can I go to Liverpool even application is in Durham?? it’s quite a lot to drive to Durham.

    thanks for the info and advice @Ellieined, I calmed down a bit :), I will get in touch with then on Friday if they will not respond to my emails until tomorrow evening.

    I spent weeks and days finding out the process of my application and I’ve been told that someone will contact me from the management team. Hardly but in the end, I had a phone call from the customer management team only yesterday since the beginning of June, and the lady advised me to email the Durham department, she also advised me what exactly to write into the email.
    as I mentioned in a previous message, I haven’t received an acknowledgement that my emails have been received by them, and that worries me
    I will try to get in touch with them again but for sure will not be easy :).

    it’s a total disaster at the HMPO, IDK 🤷

    We have booked a holiday from 26.06 but still, without passports, the application was submitted on 27.04.2022, and so far I haven’t received any updates.
    I have sent 4 emails to durhamupgradeteam@hmpo.gov.uk and haven’t received any acknowledgement from them, not sure if they received my emails or if they went loosely.
    Did anyone have the same issues as me?
    any advice is welcome
