ParticipantSo I’ve just got through to the progress team who said my upgrade from Saturday hasn’t even went through and my passport has now been transferred to the Durham team after the last person said it would be going to Glasgow.
I fly on Saturday.
Am going to the Glasgow office tomorrow morning but I’m losing hope now.sostressedout
ParticipantI have had different number of weeks depending on which person I spoke to. One advisor said 6 weeks from documents received and I couldn’t upgrade so I just hung up on her and called back with a different advisor who said I could upgrade because it was 6 weeks from application submitted.
Just keep tryingsostressedout
ParticipantHow far ahead of travel did everyone hear from the upgrade team?
I’ve just hit 72hrs and can’t stop checking my phonesostressedout
ParticipantDoes anyone know what the upgrade email address is for the Glasgow office?
And what information do I need to include in the email? I have proof of travel in a weekAdvice line keeps telling me different things so I thought I may have more luck just emailing directly.

ParticipantThey told me to send my old passport to Newport though I live in Scotland. Should I contact Newport or Glasgow?
Though I’ve read it may have moved and no longer be in Newport.
I’ll hopefully speak to the advice line again today and they can tell me where it issostressedout
ParticipantI am in a similar boat. My flight is on 25th. It’s been over 6 weeks now but I’m still sitting in “documents received”.
I’ve been told I can’t upgrade yet because my document and application haven’t been scanned into their system yet and they can’t give me any indication of when that will be.
Been waiting on an ‘urgent’ call back since yesterday morning.
Feel helpless just now because I can’t upgrade but I assume I also won’t be able to go into my local office if my documents aren’t scanned on the system yet. -
