Passport has just been delivered through the letterbox. I can’t actually believe it’s here!
Application sent – 20th February
Documents received by RM tracking – 25th February
Documents shown as received – 14th March
Application approved – 17th March
Passport printed – 23rd March
(No information sent by TNT, used my PEX number and post code later that evening) Date for delivery was showing as 25th March, however later on that evening it changed to 24th March
Passport delivered – 24th MarchSo in total from when Royal Mail delivered the documents, it has been 4 weeks (it definitely felt a lot longer than that). It was showing as 3 weeks when I applied. Passport delivered 1 weeks after approval.
Now to wait for the return of my wedding certificate!
I hope this gives some of you some hope 🙂

Sorry just realised you haven’t had a message to say your passport has been printed. Mine was approved on 17th March and printed 23rd March so it shouldn’t be too much longer for you
Have you used your PEX number to track your delivery? I haven’t received anything from TNT but when I use my post code and PEX number it said scheduled delivery for today and is currently out for delivery
Sokolka – I got a text around 8am yesterday and when I tried to track nothing came up/error messages. However later last night it did. If you click on the link from the text message saying your passport has been printed and then track item! Enter your post code and then in the application reference enter your PEX number (without PEX).If it’s been scanned in my TNT it should come up, it won’t show anything if it hasn’t been scanned. I’m also flying 30th and it’s been a stressful time!
Croftk – it took just over two weeks for mine to show up as delivered (despite them arriving the next day after I posted them) for me that was the longest and most stressful part
Yes tracking should show tomorrow morning for you hopefully! It is SUCH a stressful experience!! I’ve read on another thread that some people have changed the delivery date to a day earlier (which it allows me to do for tomorrow) but I’m a bit worried that it will mess it up :S
I have also received a printed update today with a delivery date for Friday 25th March. How accurate are their delivery dates? We fly next Wednesday and I’m so worried!

Oh that’s good to know. Were they your own passports that you’ve already had back? Am I right in thinking that the delay that some people are experiencing is waiting for the tracking information to show up? I haven’t had a text from TNT but when I enter my post code and PEX number it comes up with tracking information.
I’m interested to know if anyone else’s tracking information has been accurate?

I’ve just gone onto TNT tracking and I can see that my passport is due to be delivered on Friday 25th March … how accurate are their delivery dates?? We fly on Wednesday 30th March so I’m hoping that I will receive it in time.
Also, Ross how did you manage to pick up from the TNT office? Where is their office based?

I’ve also had a message today saying passport has been printed. We are due to be flying on Weds 31st March and I had told myself it wasn’t going to happen, however, now I’m wondering whether the passport will arrive before then …
Here’s my timeline:
20th February – Application processed
24th February – Sent documents via Royal Mail tracked
25th February – Show as received on Royal Mail tracking
Monday 14th March – Documents received
Thursday 17th March – Application approved/sent to print
Wednesday 23rd March – Passport printedHow long did it take for your passport to arrive? Today is the last day we can cancel the hotel for a full refund which I think we will do as too much of a chance otherwise.
Just received notification of passport approved. Going away in two weeks and can cancel the hotel for full refund a week before – it’s getting tight!

Finally received confirmation that my documents had been received. I called on Friday and they put a note on the system which was sent to Bootle as it had been over the 10 working days.
