Is anyone now also in the position where the passport has been printed and sent via TNT but TNT keep changing the date on the day of delivery!!! 🤬 first delivery was meant to be on Fri Oct 15th, then on the 15th I tracked and it said Sat 16th I’ve just checked again and now it’s saying Mon 18th. Afterall that waiting to have the carrot dangled and then whipped away is SHAMBOLIC. I’m desperate. Fly on the 23rd…help x
From when the application is made. I’m not sure if it includes weekends/Sundays (examiners do not work Sundays) I adding those on as it all helps me psychologically 😂 x
Anyone know what date Bootle are working on at the minute? We’ve got 2 renewals we’re waiting for:
– 1 child passport, old one received 19th Sept
– 1 adult passport, old one received 21st SeptFlying next Friday so pretty stressed right now!
Waiting for a child passport renewal from Belfast.
Been almost 4 weeks now since submission and still “being processed”.
Starting to get very anxious since need it in 2 weeks time.
Anyone any ideas if there anything you can do to speed this up? Upgrade to their Fast Track service?Details:

Our passport is then going to the Liverpool office to be examined. I was told within 20 days of Opening Document (23rd Sept)
Due to travel early on the 24th Oct 🤞🏻
We are now just playing the waiting game which is incredibly stressful. Wish we’d fast tracked (I do it for Thorpe flipping Park but not for this…) but to be fair I was given the wrong info by the passport office who said I could get the old passport back if I hadn’t heard anything by 11th Oct but the another chap at the passport office said it could take a further two weeks to do that, then get an in person appointment and then a further weeks wait which is too long and still as risky as leaving it in the system.
