They’ve introduced a new stage I think where it just says printed and then you will get another text once it is with TNT for delivery. 17 March approval, printed this afternoon but not yet sent – expect about a week door to door to receive my passport.
Personally I think there isn’t a further text and in fact HMPO are trying to distance themselves from the delays in the TNT system by ambiguous talk of ‘a few days’ etc and removing the ‘printing and sent’ update replacing it with printed – they are deliberately obfuscating the timescales around delivery to give themselves maximum wiggle room!
Same here! Out for delivery today when it said delivery on 23rd but happy it’s today although we’re out all day, but from what I can gather They’ll still post through letterbox correct?
So as I started this thread here is the update – it’s here!! 9 days on approved but the date on the actual passport is issued on 13th March, day it was approved – I am assuming that was when it was printed, all in all 30 days from start to finish – so given the timescales on the site now happy with that.

Correct – look out for a picture of your front door and the status driver deliver on TNT tracking – you’ll then know it’s on your doormat!
Hi I had a similar experience to djbdane. Approved on the 14th and received today, 1 day after HMPO updated as printed.
Phew! What a relief. It didn’t even take me that long to receive but the changing timeline and lack of transparency means I most likely will always fast track in the future…don’t think I can handle the stress again!
@poooo Did you get any kind of tracking notification or did it just turn up? On the same time lines as you. And definitely fast track next time.

I didn’t get any tracking notification – once it’s printed follow the link on the HMPO tracking page to TNT – enter, then go to the tracking page, you can track with your PEX number and postcode – if there is tracking you’ll be shown another screen with in effect a big button on it – click that for the delivery details – it does seem you have to do it yourself.

@dottiebess I think either is fine. if you click on the little i on the box it tells you what formats you can use.
My sons was approved on the 17th and I received the printed message yesterday but isn’t showing as tracking yet. I travel Friday 1st – so just sitting and praying!! (only a few sleepless nights so far!)I got a printed messaged yesterday and checked tracking later that night and to be delivered today from 8am to 8pm. fingers crossed you get yours for tomorrow.
Mine (well my son’s) was approved in 17th March listed as printed today a full week later. Still have just over two weeks before we travel, surely even TnT can’t take that long!!
