    I have just had a chat with progress team to get information about the upgrade. Surprise, surprise got connected within 3-5 minutes. I was told as the applications are digital, so we can get in touch with the closes office with upgrade request. The person on the phone advised specifically to enter the date of travel in email subject line to ensure that they notice it. He also added that they get in touch in the date of travel order so they’ll probably get in touch closer to the travel time rather 48-72 hours from request date as mentioned by some in different posts here.

    , even the thought of ringing them is quite terrifying but will give it a go once more to see if I could get this information from them.

    Finally good to hear that people are receiving their passports just in time for their travel. My application is into 10th week now and travelling within next two weeks. How can I find out which office has my application? I applied online and sent my docs to Bootle, is it safe to say that’s where my application is? Anyone has upgrade team’s email for Bootle?

    No, I haven’t. I spoke to them today morning and was told the same thing that they have sent a message across to Liverpool office and can’t do anything else. The person on the phone wasn’t very professional and his tone was somewhat rude. I have decided to send a letter to the Liverpool office with all the details. I can’t think of anything else that can be done to get in touch with them directly. The telephone service is very much useless and I am not going to wait around anymore.

    I have called them quite a few times and only thing they seem to do is make a note. I have asked them to search the documents now as I am travelling end of this month. It’s 22nd working day for me today and I am really frustrated now.

    They say normally the documents should be uploaded within 11 working days of receipt but I have come across a few people who got confirmation after 3 weeks. I haven’t come across anyone who has been waiting as long as I am. I have contacted them a few times and now asked them to search for documents. Still no response though. When were yours delivered and is it Liverpool office?

    My documents were delivered on 10th March but no confirmation as of yet.

    I have lost count of how many times I have called them to ask about my documents being delivered but get nothing useful from them. Over 3 weeks now without an update. Booked a few callbacks and received one today only to be told they will look into it and told me to request another callback if there’s no change in my application status by Wednesday. Total shambles. Always get conflicting information from the advisors.

    Hi All,

    Just came across this forum, really useful. I have submitted my application on 7 March and my supporting docs were delivered on 10 March. No update received since then. It’s been over 3 weeks and can’t really get anything useful from their advice line.

    Just wondering anyone else in the same situation? Is it normal for them to take that long to log the docs into the system?
