    I had a nightmare with my daughters renewal so id advise to get on to it.
    I was at week 12 of waiting, its been expedited, printed and posted today 4 days before i go away.
    Deffo ring and ask to speak with the case management team.

    Peterborough is closest to me but i dont want to risk driving there to get told iv got to go to durham were the applications is.

    If 48hrs b4 i would now turn up at the passport office. I fly Saturday and sent my daughters end of march too and im in same situation noone getting back. I plan to turn up at office Thursday if nothing sorted

    I spoke to advise line who tranfered me yo the case management team, i waited 2 hours on hold. I explained the situation she said as its been over 10 weeks i should have to upgrade i should expedited and that she wpuld send an ‘extremely urgent’ 3’email to the escalation team.
    However i said already been told this days ago and also emailed the escalation team and still not heard anything.
    She said to call back Tuesday if not heard anything but frok my experience so far i bet i will be doing. Or turning up at durham 48hrs before flight

    I emailed DurhamUpgradeTeam@hmpo.gov.uk

    Iv emailed it a few times since and i only got an auto reply last Saturday when i sent it. Been on hold for passport office nearly to hours this morning and still waiting

    Would love to know how you managed that, i emailed them on the 11th june, i am due to travel on the 25th june. 12 weeks today since sent passport off and still noone has contacted me

    There all the name of office and then upgrade team
    So it would be
    GlasgowUpgradeTeam@hmpo.gov.uk

    You need to add ref number and proof of flight. I go on the 25th and i sent my upgrade email nearly a week ago now and still not heard back. Good luck

    Definitely ring and keep getting onto them! I left it thinking all would be and and im 7 days till holiday and no passport

    Its did say processing from 16th may but now its gone back a stage like everyone else. It has been like that for like 4 days now.
    Yes i did contact my mp and his reply was that mps cannot expidite passport applications which is obvs a lie and that the best thing to do was to contact the passport helpline which i have done so 100s times. Yesterday morning i spoke to the progress team who sent it to the escalation team and asked me to email proof of flight which i did straight away, still not heard anything from them keep hopeing i might today

    I have taken your advise and emailed all the emailed you provided thankyou.

    I am due to fly 25th june and still waiting for my daughters passport re newal. Application was sent 26th march.
    Its been a week since i emailed the upgrade team, only a day since someone provided me the escalation email but iv emailed that again too.

    Hope i get a call today but i wont hold my breath

    Doesnt make sense does it! Im loosing it with it all! Its a child renewal it’s rediculous how long iv waited. And dont no if i am going to make my holiday. Do you know what office is dealing yours? My at durham which isnt even my closest office but i have a feeling i am going to be making a trip up there 48hrs b4 flight

    I had to email upgrade team, which they said i couldnt do untill 14days b4 flight. I emailed Saturday and still not had a call and i go on 9 days so stressful

    Ahh!! Im at nearly 12 weeks,I go on the 25th june and was told they are ringing people in order of flying times clearly that another lie!! And lol yes i carry mine everywhere since i have been waiting for that call
