    If u booked before March then they say that was enough time to get it back 5 months so is ok they say if you book now before having a passport then that’s a chance you take as it says on the web passports are taking longer than normal and not to book until u have it

    Jemadc yes it does matter if booked prior to March they will escalate it if not they won’t as they say you shouldn’t of booked without a passport

    Don’t expect them to call you back I had to call a few times as they never call back in my experience

    They only escalate it if holiday was booked prior to March I know as I had to send proof before they escalated if it wasn’t they said there nothing they can do it once I did had all 4 of my passports within 4 days

    Good job it’s a renewal as new passports are on hold as there is no interviews at the moment until they do them via Skype and even then there will be no guarantee

    It’s more than 3 weeks in most cases it says that on The web site the post office is not the passport office so have no clue

    I wouldn’t as u can only pressure them if you booked holiday before Covid there not interested otherwise really

    Pex number is your pan (passport application number) without the pex

    I wouldn’t worrie about it o couldn’t track mine either but arrived 2 days later

    They are that far behind around 3 million passports expired during lockdown and they don’t have as many staff now due to social distancing and half a million more every month expire

    SomeOne else in authority has to confirm his identity new or renewal regardless and that would of had to have been done before it told you to send old passport back and they won’t usually escalate it for at least 14 days after application

    Today you will get them
    Either Thursday or Friday they always take 48-72 hours and I couldn’t track mine apart from a message from tnt on the day they were being delivered
