We managed to re-arrange the holiday for the day before (18th) July, as they only cancelled as the flights were cancelled. 🙏

Got a text at 12.15 today to say passport finally approved. 5 minutes later an email from you to say holiday cancelled.That’s great for you. But just fuels my frustration. I applied to Durham for standard child renewal 27th may, went to processing 4th June. It hasn’t moved since then. They can’t have any sort of system based on the evidence I’m seeing!!
We are in a similar situation. Applied 27th, went to processing 4th June and that’s where it’s stayed. I have chased it up via Twitter a few times.
I am the same. Ours took around 7 days for them to receive docs and start the processing. It’s now been 3 weeks in processing.
That’s exactly the same date as my application and mine went to Durham. Be good to hear if it gets approved soon please.
After chasing up my application 3 times I got this response on Twitter :
‘I have marked your travel date on your application and my colleagues are aware of your travel date. Although we cannot guarantee any timings’
Has anyone had this response and had success?????I applied online 4 weeks ago (on weds) and still not been approved. Applied to Durham. Think I may go mad, it’s all I can think about/ chase up as our holiday is on 19th July.
Well I’ve chased it 3 times now over the last 5 days, and although they have asked me to DM them, I then get a standard response. Awaiting the most recent response but not holding out much hope. I need it approved in the next week really.
