No I know, nothing to say about lost reference number until I asked for about the 4th time why it was still on processing. The service is totally unacceptable & heads should roll for what they’re doing to do many people
I gave them mine on 21st April, didn’t realise I had to give to them but did email just incase but email was never actioned. I’ve spoken to someone today & the 10 week wait start from the date that reference number was added which unfortunately goes past my holiday date. So annoying as I sent off application 14 weeks before holiday, if I’d had known about Reference number I’d have called them sooner

Yea I totally agree twobob or we should be at least notified of what the issue is so we know what we need to rectifyIt took me an hour after getting moved to different departments & waiting, ask to speak to the progress team
I only found this out yesterday as had a spare hour to sit on hold 🤦🏼♀️ Hopefully you’ll be ok. I was also under the impression it’s 14 days before travel time unless like you said they have changed that. Fortunately I still have 7 weeks until I fly but I didn’t want to take anything to chance.
Did you take a note of reference number? Call & ask to speak to progress team & make them put the reference number on application as that’s probably what’s holding it up
I applied 12 weeks in advance, others on here have applied even earlier & still having issues with it. Think they need to make the timelines a bit clearer. Good luck
Ah if it’s renewals then probably not, my daughters has been stuck on docs received for weeks due to awaiting my birth certificate to be linked so thought may have been something similar
Does the application need a document to be linked? E.G mother’s birth certificate for 2 or more kids applications?
