finally today my husbands one was approved- although last week i was told it will be approved on 18th April!

Application submitted 9:09pm on 8 March 2022Kerryd: it’s been way over 10weeks according to their policy you can make a claim. I know it’s not ideal but call them up (I know hard to get through) and say you want to claim the loss of holiday.
Wastedoranges has the progress team said to you anything about your application and why it may be “processing”
I had a call today from the process team. Application currently in processing (since 17/03/22). She said everything is looking good on application for child renewal & child new passport. She assured me my passport will be approved in matter of days if not a week. Don’t no how she made that assumption? I informed her of my travel on 06/05/22.
My husband straightforward renewal is also in processing (since 24/03/22) said it will get approved around 18/19th April. I’ve never heard them give a date a such before??
I’m not sure but I have three applications 2x renewal and 1x child new all stuck in processing since 17/03/22. I’ve read it takes a long time
Croft: we applied 8th March. Documents sent 11th sent to corby office still not updated on system. We fly on 06/05/22.

I go on holiday on 06th May 22.
Both my childrens application has been stuck in “processing” since 17/03/22.
My husbands documents have not even updated as documents received yet.
I called the airline today and it will cost me £99 per flight to change dates. Plus additional costs.
Do you think I should just request my docs back and request fast track??? I have 6weeks till I go.
Reading a few people have received or had their passports approved. So happy for you all!
Mine still no movement since 17th waiting in processing. I’ve asked for another urgent call back. Anything I can say in this call back that will speed my application up? I go away 06/05/22. Thanks
Well mine is a little complex. I couldn’t get countersigning to be completed because I kept receiving an error on both my childrens application. I called them but they took two weeks to respond. So error + delay on their side! Still not signed, told me to wait for examiner
Jespop how did you get your application to be approved so quickly after the call? I’ve been following you and appreciate you’ve been waiting a long time. The progress team put an alert on my application yesterday. I sent to Peterborough. I go away on 06/05/22
