Usually this means you’re in a digital queue…..when you get the update ‘application being processed’ it’s in a normal, standard queue.
We were told it’s quicker when you’re in the digital queue….not sure how true this is though……Kazii321
No, I didn’t able to send any supporting info such as birth certificates etc.
However, as they were child renewals I’d already had to send a birth certificate with their first passport – so presumably they still have this on file?
In a positive, both Durham and Liverpool seem to be working on the same 20 day turnaround from documents received. Hope you get it back in time…Scarlett66….I think you might be cutting it very fine……it has been around 21 days from docs received…..then you have to get them sent out which takes a couple of days….sorry….definitely call the number people put on here….before it gets deleted! Definitely helps…good luck

If so, that’s one worry over; then i’ll just waiting on another renewal passport from Liverpool!Keeping everything crossed
I spoke to PO today…..lady ‘thinks’ they’ll be done in time….apparently ‘when you get message that ‘documents received’ this means that it’s been sent to examiner….she then told me it’s currently a 20 day wait in that queue…..
But she can’t guarantee- so no further forward really…..

Not heard anything! We travel before your date – it’s a child renewal….I’ve called several times….one lady was really helpful, but she told me that ‘adding a travel date/note’ doesn’t help – ‘it’s used to get people off the phone’…..not sure what I believe…..but not expecting to get ours back in time now…..
How do people get through to the office?
Number just rings out…….
