Just spoke to a really helpful guy on the phone. He took my childrens application numbers along with the Royal Mail tracking numbers for the marriage certs that were received by Peterborough last Tue. He said as it was a digital application he can send an alert to say my marriage certs are in the postal room and this should speed things up! 🤞🏽🤞🏽 He is the first person I’ve managed to speak to to really help me 😀

They needed name change proof that’s why I sent marriage certificates

That’s good news! I had to send in proof of parentage so sent wedding certs last week… signed for 10th but not yet acknowledged so can’t upgrade yet🙈 we’re due to fly 25th May so I’m beginning to get twitchy !

I’m in the same boat as you…. waiting for marriage certificates to be scanned on (signed for on 10th) can’t upgrade until then and we are due to fly 25th…. it’s making me ill keep checking and chasing and is so stressful.

I’m due to fly next wed 25th…. both my sons renewals are still with Peterborough.

I had to sent in parental proof (different surname) and that was signed for by hmpo on the 10th last week.

Spoke to a lovely lady this morning that said I am unable to upgrade until my paperwork has been scanned on the system….. it’s such a stressful wait…. I feel like our first holiday abroad as a family isn’t going to happen 🙁
