Can’t believe I can finally post this! Thought it was never going to come! My timeline below
Received today 30th March (apart from I was not in so I am collecting from TNT Depot tomorrow)
    Passport with TNT 29th March
    Passport printed 1:15pm on 29 March 2022
    Application approved 8:56am on 29 March 2022
Application being processed 12:30pm on 24 February 2022
    Documents received 7:36pm on 23 February 2022
    Application received 10:11am on 14 February 2022
    Application submitted 10:10am on 14 February 2022

I had no correspondence from TNT until today I just put my application number in the tracking yesterday and that worked so that’s how I knew it was coming today 🙂 good luck all x

Oh wow today must be my lucky day! I’ve been so stressed about this passport! However I recieved a text this morning to say it’s been approved and I’ve just received another one to say it’s been printed and will be given to TNT soon! Gone from waiting weeks to it all happening in one day. Reading the forums I was preparing to wait a few more weeks! Good luck everyone hope you get answers soon x

sarahinf maybe it’s worth asking for a call back? The lady told me when I called the normal HMPO number when you request a call back you get put through to the team who can see your application in depth and can answer any questions? X

Also worriedgroom22 did you send your passport to Peterbrough and they sent it on to Durham? Or did you have to send additional documents? Not very fair how you have to wait extra weeks even though they had your passport and your application

Hiya worriedgroom22 I called the normal HMPO number and I asked them to put in a call back to the processing team for me, I called on Friday and she advised 48 hours so I called again today and she said unfortunately she will need to put in another call back and I’ll have to wait 72 hours but a few hours later I got a call from them! So im not sure which call actually got me the call back haha! But the lady at the processing team was alot more helpful than the normal number, she said it doesn’t look like anyone’s asked me for further documents as of yet but its a good thing it’s actually with an examiner so should hopefully hear something soon. I really hope this is the case. But it’s definitely worth asking for a call back, you never know! Hope this helps 🙂

Hi all, I recieved my call back today from the processing team and she said there’s such a backlog especially at the Durham office! Great 🙁 she said mine is actually with an examiner rather than waiting to be processed but I don’t know how true this is or whether she was just trying to get me off the phone I have no idea. I wonder why they ask for extra supporting documents for renewals if you’ve already had a passport? Before this forum I had no idea they’d ask for extra documents. I haven’t been asked to send anything ( touch wood!! ) really hoping it gets approved soon. Good luck everyone

lisam1988 & gracelay25 wow it took a long time for it to go to being with an examiner from you applying, have you called and asked for a call back from the processing team to answer why? I am currently awaiting a call back from them so I’ll see if they actually call… what a waste of so many weeks waiting with it not doing anything on the system? I applied 14th Feb, documents recieved 23rd Feb then processing on 24th Feb with no further updates. Mines at Durham. Hope we get some answers soon. Worriedgroom22 everyone else I’ve spoken to say the same, they won’t help until its 10 weeks from documents recieved which I don’t think is very fair either. Good luck to you all
