Swim1982. When was your application and how long did you wait for new passport delivered?
To everyone else I have my MP involved from last Saturday apparently, they have a new special phone line at Portcullis house?
Think that and webchat on Monday night where I was told awaiting examiner ( standard line) but last night 6pm got application approved. Mine was damaged, applied 24/4
Also emailed Abi Tierney at home office.
Good luck everyone. But I won’t rest until passport n my hand.

All top brass at passport office.try them. Think webchat helped, she knew I’d sent danage letter and only posted last Thursday.. They can tell uou more thank advisors I think. Have you tried it yet? If not try 8.01. Just type 1st name and click to save time. If you get waiting for agent message hang on you will get through. Have uou thought about going to nearest oassport office 48 hours before flight?Pepperpepper.
I saw on an earlier post send in letter before they ask for it. They may not depends on examiner and may save time

I applied 14/4 online, docs received 29/4. Good luckNot yet. I can ring Friday for travel 3rd June. Progress team will put in a request will then tell you to email upgrade team with copy of your flight details, put date of travel in heading.. Find out which office is dealing with it. Ring general no 8am press option 8 then 3. Ask to be put straight through to progress team
Try on the webchat UK time 8.01. Just type 1st name and click. If waiting for agent appears just hang on, you should get through. Good luck
Hi can take up to 20 days to show as received. Mine was 15 days posted 14/4. Had chat with progress team and Web chat it seems damaged passports have to be done manually. Depends on examiner but some want letter, signed and dated, explaining damage. I sent mine off (signed for) with Pex no on envelope and on letter to same place as passport sent. I didn’t wait to be asked.
Hi. I would ring 8am ask to be put through to progress team and speak to someone rather than rely on email.
